about

In 2012 when I was living in Boston, MA (USA), I went to see a concert by Jenna Moynihan (Fiddle Violin) & Mairi Chaimbeul (Harp). They were playing Celtic Folk music and their talent was mesmerizing. I was so amazed by their performance that I started to think about writing a piece for Harp & Violin myself.
Then a few years passed and the end of 2017 came. The idea of a piece for harp and violin was still on my mind and I felt that I was finally ready to do it.
So I started to work on it: first by thinking about it a lot, all the time, trying to hear it in my mind before sketching a few ideas at my piano.
Then finally in March 2018, after several weeks of work (not full time, of course!), I was ready to start the recording process.
This recording was finished in May 2018, after two remote sessions with Tom Moth and Vaughan Williams, two amazing performers that I can't thank enough for their dedication and professionalism.
